# Connect an assistant to 1Post over MCP

Setup pages for connecting the 1Post MCP server in Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and more.

Connect an assistant client to the 1Post MCP server with a key or by signing in. Each page here gives the exact settings for one client, a tool call and its reply, and what the connection can do. The free tools work with no key at all.

Any client that speaks MCP over HTTP can connect: the server is at https://api.get1post.com/v1/mcp for a key, and https://api.get1post.com/v1/mcp/oauth for sign-in. Read how the permissions work on the [MCP page](https://get1post.com/docs/mcp.md).
