# Approvals: 1Post docs

How posts move through review: a contributor submits, a reviewer approves or sends back with a note, and which roles may approve.

A contributor's post goes to review instead of being scheduled. A reviewer, admin or owner approves it, which schedules it, or sends it back with a note. Other posts can be submitted for review too. Keys and assistants can only approve when the workspace owner has switched that on.

## The flow

1. Submit the post for review: POST /v1/posts/{id}/submit.
2. A reviewer reads it, leaves comments and approves it, or requests changes with a note.
3. Approving schedules it at its time or in its slot. Requesting changes sends it back to its author.

## Who may approve

Owners, admins and reviewers. A key or assistant acting for one of them also needs the approval switch that only the workspace owner sets, so automation cannot approve by accident.

Approvals are on every plan and so are members; see [pricing](https://get1post.com/pricing.md).

## Questions

**Can a client approve without a login?**
