# Comments on posts: 1Post docs

Leave notes on a post for your team, read what a client wrote on a review link and keep both with the post.

Members can leave comments on any post, and clients can comment on a review link. Both are kept with the post, so the reason for a change stays beside it. Read them with GET /v1/posts/{id}/comments and add one with POST on the same path. Comments never go to a network.

## Two kinds

- Team comments from members, written in the dashboard or through the API.
- Client comments from people using a review link.

Comments on posts are different from the comments your audience writes on a network, which arrive in the [inbox](https://get1post.com/docs/inbox.md).

## Questions

**Do comments on a post reach the audience?**

No. They stay inside your workspace.
