# The inbox: 1Post docs

Read the comments your audience leaves on your posts, mark them open or done, assign them and send your own reply from the right account.

The inbox gathers comments and replies from your connected accounts. Mark each open, done or hidden, assign it to a member and reply from the account it was left on. A reply goes out at once on the network, so it needs a role that publishes and an explicit confirmation. 1Post never replies by itself.

- List with GET /v1/comments, filtered by status, account or post.
- Change status or assignment with PATCH /v1/comments/{id}.
- Reply with POST /v1/comments/{id}/reply and confirm: true.

The number of people you can reply to a month depends on the plan.

**Can an assistant reply for me?**

Only with your explicit confirmation on each reply, through the MCP tool or the API.
