# Evergreen content: what it means in social media

What evergreen content means in social media posting, in plain words, with how 1Post handles it.

Evergreen content stays useful long after it is posted, such as a how-to or a checklist, so it can be shared again. Scheduling tools repeat it on an interval. The same text sent twice in a row to one account can be refused as a duplicate on some networks, so rotate versions.

Write a few versions of an evergreen post and rotate them. Networks such as X refuse identical repeats.

In 1Post a repeat is a rule on a post: an interval, a repeat count and an end date.

## Questions

**Can a post repeat on a schedule?**

Yes. See [how to set up a recurring post](https://get1post.com/guides/set-up-a-recurring-post.md).
