# Queue: definition for social media posting

What queue means in social media posting, in plain words, with how 1Post handles it.

A queue is a line of scheduled posts that go out in order at the times your weekly slots set, so you can load a week or a month of posts without choosing a time for each. A post takes the next free slot, and a slot that is taken is skipped.

Queues pair with weekly slots: you define the times once and every queued post fills the next one.

A queue has a size limit by plan.

## Questions

**How large can my queue be?**

It depends on your plan; the [pricing page](https://get1post.com/pricing.md) lists scheduled posts in the queue and how far ahead you can schedule.
