# Story: definition for social media posting

What story means in social media posting, in plain words, with how 1Post handles it.

A Story is a short image or video that shows for a limited time, usually a day, on networks such as Instagram and Facebook. Stories are vertical and full screen. 1Post can schedule them for Instagram and Facebook; a first comment is not available on Stories.

Stories disappear after a time, so they suit timely updates.

The composer lists Story as its own post type on the networks that have it.

## Questions
