# How to import many posts from a CSV file

Prepare a CSV of up to 500 rows, import it, and fix any row a network would refuse before anything is queued.

Prepare a CSV with one post per row: text, networks and time. Import up to 500 rows in one file. 1Post checks every row against each network's rules before anything is queued and lists the rows that fail, so you can fix them and import again without duplicating the rows that passed.

## Steps

1. Make the file. Put one post per row with text, networks and the time, in any spreadsheet, and save it as CSV.
2. Import it. In the calendar choose Import and pick the file.
3. Review the check. Rows that break a network's rule are listed with the reason, such as text over the limit.
4. Fix and re-import. Correct the failing rows and import again.
5. Confirm. Passing rows are queued at the times given.

## Good to know

- A file takes up to 500 rows.

## Questions

**Is the whole file refused if one row fails?**

No. The check lists failing rows and the others can be queued.

**Can I include images?**

Refer to files in your media library by name.
