# How to publish posts to WordPress from 1Post

Create an Application Password in WordPress, connect your site and publish a post with a title, HTML, featured image, categories and tags.

In your WordPress profile create an Application Password. In 1Post choose Accounts, Connect, WordPress and enter your site address, username and that password. In the composer write the title and HTML body, add a featured image, pick categories and tags and set the status, then schedule it.

## Steps

1. Create an Application Password. In your WordPress user profile add a new Application Password and copy it.
2. Connect the site. In 1Post Accounts choose Connect, WordPress and enter the site address, username and password.
3. Write the post. Add the title and the HTML body in the composer.
4. Add the details. Choose a featured image, categories, tags and the publish status.
5. Schedule. Pick a time or the next free slot.

## Good to know

- The Application Password is stored encrypted and can be revoked from your WordPress profile.
