# How to schedule TikTok photo carousels in 1Post

Choose photos, set the caption and TikTok's privacy and interaction settings, and schedule a photo carousel to post directly or land in your TikTok inbox.

Open the composer, pick your TikTok account, choose photos instead of video and add your images in order. Write the caption, choose the privacy level and interaction settings TikTok asks for, then pick a time. You can post directly or send the post to your TikTok inbox to finish there.

## Steps

1. Pick TikTok and photos. In Compose choose your TikTok account and the photo carousel type.
2. Add the images. Add the photos in the order viewers should see them. TikTok takes JPEG and WebP; a PNG is converted.
3. Write the caption. Add the caption, within TikTok's limit shown on the tab.
4. Set privacy and interactions. Choose who can view the post. Comments, duet and stitch switches start off and can be turned on.
5. Choose how it posts. Post directly at the scheduled time, or send it to your TikTok inbox to finish in the app.
6. Schedule. Pick the time or the next free slot.

## Good to know

- TikTok limits Direct Post to around 15 posts a day per creator account, shared across every app that uses it.

## Questions

**Why is my post in my TikTok inbox?**

You chose to send it there, or TikTok kept it there for you to finish. Open the TikTok app to publish it.

**What size should the photos be?**

Photos taller than 1080 pixels on the short side are scaled down. Crop them with the [image resizer](https://get1post.com/tools/image-resizer.md).
