# How to set a weekly posting schedule with time slots

Define weekday and time slots for each account once, then add posts to the queue and let each take the next free slot in your workspace time zone.

Open Accounts, choose an account and add slots: a weekday and a time, such as Tuesday at 9:00. Then add posts to the queue and each takes the next free slot, in your workspace time zone. Deleting a slot that scheduled posts use offers to move those posts to the next free one.

## Steps

1. Open the account. Go to Accounts and pick the account you want a schedule for.
2. Add slots. Add a weekday and time for each slot. Add as many as you post per week.
3. Queue posts. When you finish a post choose Add to queue instead of picking a time.
4. Watch the calendar. Each queued post lands in the next free slot and shows on the calendar.
5. Change slots later. Edit or remove a slot; posts that use it can move to the next free slot.

## Good to know

- A slot is used once a post is queued in it. Slots use the workspace time zone in the app and the API.

**What if no slot is free?**

The post is not published at once; 1Post tells you there is no free slot.

**Can each network have different slots?**

Yes. Slots belong to an account.
