# Schedule Telegram posts: formats, limits, setup

Schedule and publish text, photos, video and albums to Telegram with 1Post: what you can post, the limits, the daily cap and how to connect your channel.

## Connect Telegram

1. Add the 1Post bot to your channel or group as an administrator, or create your own bot with BotFather.
2. Open Accounts in 1Post and choose Connect, then Telegram.
3. Enter the channel and, if you use your own bot, its token.
4. Choose the channel in the composer.

## Before it goes out

The composer shows Telegram's preview beside the others, counts the text the way Telegram does, and lists anything the network would refuse, such as a file that is too large. Fix it in the composer and the post stays in your queue.

**How many characters can I post on Telegram?**
