# Schedule Threads posts: formats, limits, setup

Schedule and publish text, images, video and carousels to Threads with 1Post: what you can post, the limits, the daily cap and how to connect your account.

1Post schedules and publishes text, images, video and carousels to Threads. Write once, tailor the Threads version with a live preview, and 1Post checks the post against Threads's rules before it goes out at the time you set. The text limit is 500 characters, counted by code points.

## Connect Threads

1. Open Accounts in 1Post and choose Connect.
2. Pick Threads.
3. Sign in with Threads and approve access for the account you want to post to.
4. Choose the account in 1Post. It is ready to pick in the composer.

## Before it goes out

The composer shows Threads's preview beside the others, counts the text the way Threads does, and lists anything the network would refuse, such as a file that is too large. Fix it in the composer and the post stays in your queue.

## Questions

**How many characters can I post on Threads?**

**Can I schedule Threads posts with 1Post?**

Yes. Write the post once, tailor the Threads version, then pick a time or a free queue slot. 1Post previews the post and checks it against Threads's rules before it is sent.

Up to 200 a day for each connected Threads account.

**How does Threads count emoji?**
