# Schedule WordPress posts: formats, limits, setup

Schedule blog posts with a title, HTML and a featured image to WordPress with 1Post: formats, limits, the daily cap and how to connect your site.

1Post schedules and publishes blog posts with a title, HTML and a featured image to WordPress. Write once, tailor the WordPress version with a live preview, and 1Post checks the post against WordPress's rules before it goes out at the time you set. 1Post enforces no text length for WordPress.

## What you can post to WordPress

- Post with a title
- HTML body
- Featured image
- Categories and tags
- Publish status

## WordPress limits at a glance

| Rule | Value |
| --- | --- |
| Text limit | No length check |
| Media accepted | Images |
| Images per post | 1 |
| Threads | No |
| First comment | No |
| Posts per day, per connected account (1Post) | 20 |

Every rule, with the network's own page where we read one: [WordPress specs and limits](https://get1post.com/platforms/wordpress/specs.md).

## Connect WordPress

1. In your WordPress profile, create an Application Password.
2. Open Accounts in 1Post and choose Connect, then WordPress.
3. Enter your site address, your username and the Application Password.
4. Choose the site in the composer.

## Before it goes out

The composer shows WordPress's preview beside the others, counts the text the way WordPress does, and lists anything the network would refuse, such as a file that is too large. Fix it in the composer and the post stays in your queue.
