# Developers: social media scheduling with 1Post

How developers use 1Post to write once, tailor each network's version, get sign-off and publish on time, starting at $29 a month.

A developer who needs to post from their own product can use the 1Post API, MCP server and signed webhooks on every plan, scoped to a workspace. A key acts with the permissions of the member who made it, requests carry an idempotency key so a retry cannot post twice, and errors come with a plain fix.

## The workflow

1. Create an API key in a workspace.
2. Create a post with a request that carries an idempotency key.
3. Poll its status or receive a signed webhook when it publishes.
4. Read the developer log for each request and response.

## The result

The product posts to every network through one interface, and a failed request tells the developer what to change.

Plans start at $29 a month with a trial; see [pricing](https://get1post.com/pricing.md).

## Questions

**Is the API on every plan?**

Yes. API access, the MCP server and webhooks are included on every plan.
