X advanced search query builder
Fill in any of the fields to build an X advanced search: words, an exact phrase, either-or terms, words to leave out, accounts, dates, minimum likes, replies and reposts, media and language. Copy the finished query, or open it on the Latest tab of X with one click. It runs in your browser.
Separate with commas. A term with a space is kept together.

How it works
- 01
Each field becomes one part of the search string. Words you list together must all appear, a quoted phrase must appear as written, a minus sign leaves a word out, and OR inside brackets accepts either word. Accounts become from:, to: and @ terms, and the counts become minimum-engagement terms.
- 02
The finished string shows live under the fields. Copy it to use in X search, or press Open on X to run it on the Latest tab. If a field holds something X would reject, such as a date that does not exist, the builder says so and leaves that field out.
- 03
Copy a link to the result, or open it in the composer with 1Post and schedule it to every network.
What it checks
- HandlesAn account name must be letters, numbers and underscores, up to 15 characters.
- DatesDates must be real calendar dates written as YYYY-MM-DD, and since cannot come after until.
- CountsMinimum replies, likes and reposts must be whole numbers.
- PhrasesA term with a space is kept together in quotes so X reads it as one phrase.
It runs in your browser. Nothing you type or choose is uploaded, and the page works without an account. To publish what you made, start a trial and open it in the composer.
Questions
Do I need an X account to use the search?
The builder needs nothing. To see results on X you should be signed in, because X offers its own advanced search form to signed-in accounts.
What is the difference between likes in the API and on the website?
X's developer documentation says web search names the operators min_faves and min_retweets, while its API names them min_likes and min_reposts. This tool writes the website names, because it opens the website.
Is my search uploaded anywhere?
No. The string is built in your browser. Pressing Open on X sends the search to x.com, the same as typing it there.
