Connect and manage accounts

Open the accounts screen, pick a network and sign in on its own page, or use POST /v1/accounts/connect to get the address that does the same. Networks that use a password, a token or a pasted address connect with a form. Disconnecting keeps the history and shows the account as disabled.

Two ways to connect

  • By redirect: 1Post gives you an address, you sign in on the network and it sends you back.
  • With details: Bluesky app passwords, Telegram, Discord, Slack, WordPress, DEV, Hashnode, Lemmy, a webhook address and X with your own keys connect through a form. The details are checked, sealed and never shown again.

After connecting

Some accounts post to a Page, board, playlist, location or blog. GET /v1/accounts/{id}/targets lists the choices and POST /v1/accounts/{id}/pick sets the one to use.

A plan connects a fixed number of accounts: Starter 20, Creator 40, Agency 100. Reconnecting an account you already have is never refused for this reason.

Questions

What happens to queued posts when I disconnect an account?

They are cancelled for that account. Posts already live on the network are left alone.
