Quickstart: your first post from code

Make a key in the dashboard, list your connected accounts with GET /v1/accounts, then send POST /v1/posts with the account ids and your text. Without a time the post is saved and not sent; add schedule_at, publish_now or use_next_free_slot to send it. Every request is checked against each network's rules first.

Before you start

  • A workspace with at least one connected account. Connect accounts first if you have none.
  • A key with write scope. Keys are made in the dashboard and begin with op_live_.
  • A way to send HTTPS requests with a JSON body.

Send the first post

  1. 01

Call GET /v1/accounts with your key as a bearer token and copy the id of an account.

  2. 02

Call POST /v1/posts with a body such as {"accounts":["<id>"],"text":"Doors open at nine."}. The reply holds the post and one destination per account.

  3. 03

Add "schedule_at":"2026-03-10T09:00:00Z" to schedule it, or "publish_now":true to send it now. A time without an offset is read as UTC.

  4. 04

Send an Idempotency-Key header so a retry can never create a second post.

A key acts with the role of the member who made it. A contributor's key puts every post into review, whatever the request asks for.

Questions

Does the first request publish anything?

Only if it carries schedule_at, publish_now or use_next_free_slot. Without one of them the post is saved and nothing is sent.

From one post to every feed
