Invite links: let a client connect their own account

An invite link lets a client connect their own account into your workspace without creating a 1Post login. Make one in the dashboard or with POST /v1/invite-links, send it, and the client signs in on the network itself. Only networks that connect by redirect are offered. Links expire.

  1. 01

Create the link, optionally for one network only.

  2. 02

Send it to your client. The token is shown once, so copy the whole address.

  3. 03

The client opens it, sees your workspace name and the networks offered, and signs in on the network.

  4. 04

The account appears in your workspace, ready to post to.

You never see the client's password. Disconnecting the account later is the same as for any account.

Questions

Does the client need a 1Post account?

No. They only sign in on the network they are connecting.
