Webhooks and MCP

The MCP server

The MCP server at /v1/mcp offers the free tools with no credential and every tool with a key. An assistant lists accounts, writes and schedules posts and reads results, with the permissions of the member who connected it. Tools that cancel or reply need confirm: true.

Connect

  • With a key: send it to /v1/mcp as a bearer token.
  • With OAuth: connect to /v1/mcp/oauth and sign in; see MCP authentication.
  • With nothing: call the free tools only.

What the assistant can and cannot do

It acts with the role of the member behind the grant, so a contributor's posts still go to review. Approving needs the owner's approval switch. 1Post never writes for the assistant: it publishes what the assistant sends.

Setup pages for each assistant client are under assistants, and posting examples for each network are under developers.
