OAuth: what it means

OAuth is the standard way to let one app act on your account at another service without sharing your password. You sign in on the service's own page and approve what the app may do. 1Post uses it to connect most networks, and you can revoke access from the network at any time.

Updated 2026-10-23

The app receives a token with limited permissions, not your password.

Some networks expire tokens, in which case 1Post asks you to reconnect before posts are due.
