How-to guide

How to find your best time to post

Export your post history as a CSV with a date column and a results column such as likes or impressions. Load it in the best time to post tool, which ranks weekday and hour slots by average result and shows the number of posts behind each. Then add the top slots as weekly time slots in 1Post.

Steps

  1. 01

    Export your history

Download a CSV of past posts from your network or analytics tool.

  2. 02

    Load it in the tool

Open the best time to post tool and choose the file. It stays in your browser.

  3. 03

    Pick the columns

Choose the date column and the result to rank by.

  4. 04

    Read the ranking

Slots need at least three posts to be ranked; the counts show how solid each result is.

  5. 05

    Add slots

Turn the top slots into weekly slots in 1Post.

Good to know

  • The result is arithmetic on your own posts, not a prediction.

Questions

How many posts do I need?

At least three in a slot for it to rank; more is better.

Does it use other accounts' data?

No. Only the file you load.
