How-to guide

How to set up a recurring post

Open the post, choose Repeat, and set an interval from one day to one month, how many times it repeats and an end date. 1Post queues each run. Where a network refuses identical repeats, such as X, add at least two versions of the text and they rotate. Editing asks whether to change this run or all later ones.

Steps

  1. 01

    Write the post

Compose and save the post as you normally would.

  2. 02

    Choose Repeat

Open the repeat setting and pick the interval, from daily to monthly.

  3. 03

Set a count or end date

Choose how many times it runs or the date it stops.

  4. 04

    Add versions for X

For X, add two or more versions that rotate so no run is identical.

  5. 05

    Schedule

Confirm. Each run appears on the calendar.

Good to know

  • Editing later asks whether the change applies to this run only or to every future run.

Questions

What is the shortest interval?

One day.

Does it work on every network?

Yes, but X refuses identical repeats, so rotate versions there.
