How-to guide

How to import posts from a CSV file

Prepare a CSV with one post per row: text, networks and time. Import up to 500 rows in one file. 1Post checks every row against each network's rules before anything is queued and lists the rows that fail, so you can fix them and import again without duplicating the rows that passed.

Steps

  1. 01

    Make the file

Put one post per row with text, networks and the time, in any spreadsheet, and save it as CSV.

  2. 02

    Import it

In the calendar choose Import and pick the file.

  3. 03

    Review the check

Rows that break a network's rule are listed with the reason, such as text over the limit.

    Fix and re-import

Correct the failing rows and import again.

  5. 05

    Confirm

Passing rows are queued at the times given.
